Mathematics
I started in pure mathematics: a PhD at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where I also taught in the math faculty from 2003 to 2007. Mathematics gave me the habit I still trust most — reduce a problem to what it actually is before touching it.
Deep tech
At ARQUIMEA, an aerospace spin-off of Universidad Carlos III, I led technology-transfer programs across space, robotics, defense, and health. It was my first job turning research into products, and I was responsible for securing the funding to do it.
Company building
Nine years at Rokk3r, the Miami venture builder — leading more than 100 innovation projects across the US and Latin America that fed a portfolio of 50+ co-founded startups. Along the way I created 10xU, Rokk3r's education platform for founders and executives, which reached more than 25,000 students.
Emerging tech
Through the blockchain years I collaborated with the Algorand and Moonbeam foundations and was a partner at Rayo Capital. That stretch taught me to tell a real technology shift from a loud one — a distinction I use daily now.
Now
Today I'm Managing Director at
ENYA Ventures
, a pre-seed fund backing AI-native founders across
Spanish-speaking Latin America — and I'm building the fund
itself to run on AI agents. Research, meeting prep, and
relationship memory already do; testing the thesis on my own
company keeps my opinions about AI-native honest. I mentor
at Techstars and the Founder Institute, and I'm a member of
the Stanford AI & Web3 Research Lab. Based in Miami.
